OMG !!!! Now We Have Spaghetti !!!!

Spaghetti, meatball and i

Sorry I haven’t written in a while but the upgrade to WordPress really stinks and it makes it SO hard to write a post these days.  anyway……………

My dad comes home today with some upstart “mini me” ‘cept it is a girl. Yeah, a pudgy little thick legged square headed bundle of adventure. He says it is Moms Valentine day present, but I think she is going to be daddy’s little girl, (Ok big little girl).

Here is the story….. My dad goes to the vet this morning to get my  Heartguard heartworm medicine which he forgot to do last week. So, while he is there Vicky, (the receptionist)says she just got an English mastiff puppy. That starts the conversation all about us big gentle giants. My dad ends up asking if she was expensive and Vicky says, “No, someone in town just had 10 puppies and all they wanted was for them to go to good homes. ” You mean Free? So long story short, my dad calls the lady who by then has only 3 left and says he can be there in 20 minutes. He picks out this hot little number and drives it to my mom’s work at Orange Pediatric Care, (with offices on New Windsor and in Beacon) and has someone tell my mom to come out becasue my dad brouht Spaghetti for lunch.,..and the rest is history….well history to be written as we go.

Spaghetti 6 weeks tired

Life Lesson: When by chance serendipity happens and all the starts aline and just fall into your lap, ya’ have to go for it!   Don’t squander precious time hemming and hawing, Just say YES.

SO, How Was Your Day?

My dad took me out to the park, (Memorial park) three times! Yes, We walked there three time today! AND we also went to Long Dock Park once, (Sorry Ryder for not being there this morning, my mom had to catch a train and my dad was running late and it looked kinda’ like rain…and we never got out of the house on time).

In between I hung out with my dad, we worked in the basement. My dad is building an exam table for the Beacon office of Orange Pediatric Care, P.C. located at 301 Main Street Beacon, NY. 12508 (845) 831-5995….(cheap plug for us! wooohooo) I am the mascot…well, I get to hang out there occasionally. so we were in the basement putting a final coat of finish on it. we also had to fix the blasted water heater again, (It is an AO Smith Promax water heater, my dad says it is a piece of junk because the VF sensor is always getting triggered and turning the water heater off. (the VF sensor is the “volatile fume” sensor bu tit is way too sensitive and even if the basement is a little dusty it goes off or if he is letting varnish dry). …that was the “anti plug”

hmmm… what else we watched some of the Olympics, they’re in London and since I am an English Mastiff I figured I should watch. We saw some water polo, which seemed like soccer, (football over there), but in the water and some gymnastics. It was Ok, but I didn’t see any dog events at the London Olympics. They are supposed to be games, Olympic games, but everyone seemed so serious.

Then for dinner I had dog food with chicken GIBLETS! wow those were good.. My dad saute’d them, (fancy word for fried them) yyuuuuummmmmm!

…and to top it all off I got to look at and even taste just a litle of the Black cherry and berry frozen shake my dad made for my mom.

….so I had a pretty darn good day!

Life Lesson: Enjoy all of the little things that make up your day.

Missing Mommy

Where is she???
My mommy left a couple of days ago and I haven’t seen her since. I miss her.  Sure being with me dad is ok, but all he wants to do is work in the basement on some wood stuff. He says, “custom furniture”. I get so bored. He throws me scraps of wood to chew up, but my mom threw me scraps of food, which is SO much better. Wood, food, wood, food……………uh, I’ll take the food, thank you.

My dad took me to Orange Pediatric Care a few times just for the ride to get out of the house and to say “hello” to some people. I said hello to Lynn, Donna, Amanda, Sabrina, Madge and some strangers. However everytime I go I miss Sarah. I think she wants to say hello to me, but I guess my dad has bad timing, (I can’t drive myself ya’ know).

I wonder when or if my mommy is coming back,. ….sigh
