Fried Chicken and My Dad is Crazy

Ok, sorry but no pictures.

I like fried chicken! I think it is my favorite food. totally YUM!  Especially Kennedy Fried Chicken! ..ok, I just had to get that out of my system ’cause my dad added some fried chicken to my dog food tonight and boy was it good. Too bad there was even any dog food in the mix

So apparently I am a creature of habbit. Usually by a certain time my dad and I go upstairs to go to sleep. Often first we go and answer emails, check facebook, blog, look at car porn, (any sort of car sights, blogs, auctions, chat rooms etc.)…then we go to sleep.

Tonight my dad was working in the basement untill after 12:00! I was like, “what is going on”? I was bored and wanted to play but he kept muttering he had to get a project done for someone and was running out of time. Cars, Woodworking….why can’t he do normal stuff like fetch balls and chew on sticks?

Life Lesson: To each his own

I Think I Have A Pen Pal Maybe Even More Than One…YAY!!!!!

Thats’ me standing on my dad. I think he is losing weight and shrinking. Doesn’t he look smaller than before?
…….Anyway, another dog writer has been sending me messages commenting on my blog and blogging also. His name is Ryder. Now isn’t that so cool! First of all he has a cool name. It is cool, tough, daring and a whole host of other things that Meatball just doesn’t denote. We could be part of a movement. We could be the beginning of a revolution. Equal rights for dogs! Dog marriage, (after all where would you ever find a more faithfull partner?) A dog for president! ( who would be more honest). Dogs running the Pentagon, ( who knows how to fight and when to run better?). And best of all “Playdog” magazine! (this being a family blog I won’t go into what we can do – other than to say…”we can reach areas by ourselves”….oooh never mind)                  ok, where was I?

So I am glad to have a “correspondent” to correspond with and hoping for that play date someday when we can find neutral turf to run around in, Maybe Memorial Park or a Long Dock Park trail walk? Before my daddy shrinks  to much, like inthat movie,  “Honey I Shrunk the Daddy”

Life Lesson: Write real letters to your friends and loved ones, They can be savoured,  saved, and treasured in ways e-mails cannot.

There are only a few things that are harder to do than waiting.

The past week had been very hard on me. My mom and dad would both leave early in the day, come home when it is already dark, only to leave again after an hour. When they come home again late at night, they are both too tired to play with me.

They have no time to help me write my blog:(

I can only hope that this situation is only temporary.

Life Lesson: One of the most valuable skills to learn in life is… how to amuse one’s self.
